Where do you place your combination detector?
A combination detector is a smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector in one. Smoke rises and carbon monoxide spreads through the air. Because of this difference, there is no one perfect place for the combination detector, but entirely dependent on your situation.

- Rooms with combustion appliances: Install carbon monoxide alarms or combination detectors in any room that contains combustion appliances, such as central heating boilers, gas stoves, water heaters or fireplaces. These appliances can emit carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless and potentially deadly gas. A CO alarm near these appliances provides a quick warning of dangerous accumulations of carbon monoxide so you can act in a timely manner.
- Escape routes: Place smoke detectors or combination detectors in hallways and near stairs, especially if they lead to bedrooms. This ensures that smoke is detected quickly and you can respond in a timely manner.

Der kombinierte Meldet gefällt mir sehr gut. Ordentlich verpackt, gute Anleitung und alles sehr gut übersetzt. Öffnen nicht ganz einfach, da ich oft versehentlich den Testalarm ausgelöst habe. Verbindung mit der App ist simpel und zeigt alles auch ohne Registrierung an. Auch die Zustimmungen können recht niedrig gehalten werden. Das gefällt mir ebenfalls. Prüfung durch TÜV Rheinland bzw. Zertifizierung macht auf mich ebenso wie CE-Zeichen und Händlerkennung auf dem Gerät ebenfalls einen guten Eindruck. Preislich für mich eher am oberen Ende. Letztendlich bei einer Haltbarkeit von zehn Jahren in Ordnung – gerade durch die Kombination.

Se serve a farci stare tranquilli, tutto può essere utile, a maggior ragione se si tratta di un prodotto che installi una volta e poi non dovrai pensarci più per dieci anni. Questo sensore, infatti, è particolarmente comodo anche per questo, per la sua comodità. Ma andiamo con ordine: si tratta di un sensore in grado di rilevare sia fumo che gas (monossido di carbonio) e si rivela quindi efficace sia contro incendi che contro fughe di gas. Ha dimensioni decisamente contenute, 12 x 12 x 3 cm ed un design particolarmente piacevole, che sta bene in qualunque zona della cucina o del soggiorno. Va applicato a parete, in un punto dove possa rilevare efficacemente fumo e gas. Il sensore ha una piccola luce led, con la quale possiamo monitorare che stia effettivamente funzionando ed un altoparlante per l’allarme, che suonerà ad alto volume (85 decibel). Il modello wifi presenta una ulteriore comodità, ossia la possibilità di collegare il dispositivo alle app Tuya o Smartlife e poter controllare mediante lo smartphone lo stato della batteria, la cronologia delle notifiche e altre impostazioni. Inoltre, in caso di attivazione dell’allarme, mediante la app verrà inviata anche una notifica sul telefono, comodissimo se non siamo in casa al momento dell’emergenza. Grazie alla batteria al litio integrata con una durata stimata di 10 anni, il nostro unico pensiero sarà quello di tenere d’occhio le notifiche della app o allertarci quando suonerà l’allarme.

Apparaat gekocht voor bij CVketel op te hangen. De melder is makkelijk te installeren. Om deze via de smartlife app te includen moet je 4x de knop aan de voorkant induwen, dan kun je heel eenvoudig de rookmelder aan de app toevoegen en krijg je meteen meldingen op je telefoon en kun je de batterystatus opvragen. Door de vaste batterij die tien jaar zal meegaan zal deze niet snel leeggaan. Dus nooit meer ‘s nachts gewekt worden door een rookmelder!

Had een vraag gemaild en gelijk binnen een half uur een reactie terug gekregen.

Ich habe den Kombimelder gekauft und bin bis jetzt sehr zufrieden. Das Alarmsignal ist wirklich sehr laut. Gefühlt dreifach so laut wie unsere bisherigen Rauchmelder. Auch die WLAN-Kopplung funktioniert gut., allerdings ohne direkte Funktionen in der App – außer eben der Anzeige, dass kein Alarm ist. Insgesamt zu empfehlen!

Voor mijn vriendin heb ik een compleet slim huis (SmartHome) ontwikkeld en daarbij gebruik gemaakt van Tuya-cloud componenten. Het is een ontwerpkeuze waar deze brandmelders perfect in passen. Want ze had tenslotte de Tuya/SmartLife-app al. De installatie ging dan ook soepeltjes en binnen no time waren alle 3 de melders bevestigd met een stukje dubbelzijdig tape zo her en der door het huis. Want we hadden geen zin om gaten te boren en de melders zijn erg lichtgewicht tenslotte. We hopen de melders nooit meer te horen nu, anders dan op de maandelijkse of 2 maandelijkse gelegenheid waarbij we de kids de opdracht geven om ze te ‘testen’ voor de functionaliteit – zoals ook in de installatie handleiding staat. Voor dit geld, en de snelheid waarmee het in huis was tevens, en het feit dat deze Tuya producten op deze manier aan Nederlandse garantie voorwaarden voldoen: Zal ik verder niet klagen. Helemaal prima.

Getest met rook en de melder gaat wel piepen.
Maar hij meldt niet niet via de app.

Na onverwchte uitval van batterijen van rookmelders midden in de nacht en in de vakantie het e.e.a. gelezen welke rookmelders in mijn geval de voorkeur hebben. Uiteindelijk gekozen voor niet koppelbare rookmelders (zijn luid genoeg) en op WiFi (controle status batterij). Met 3M makkelijk te installeren en snel in het netwerk opgenomen. Rookmelders worden regelmatig getest. Mooi systeem.

Onlangs deze set van 5 gekocht omdat ik nog geen brandalarm had thuis. Wou liefst eentje op wifi zodat ik ook meldingen krijg als ik niet thuis ben. De installatie verliep relatief vlot, hoewel enkele in eerste instantie niet wouden verbinden met de app (ze waren niet zichtbaar tijdens het koppelingsproces). Even de bluetooth van mijn gsm af gezet en de app even dicht gedaan en daarna alles terug geactiveerd en het werkte terug (heb dit wel een paar keer moeten herhalen, na elke succesvolle koppeling kreeg ik opnieuw dat probleem). Dus let hier op dat dit ook bij iemand anders kan voorvallen en dat de brandalarmen dus niet defect zijn moest het van de eerste keer niet lukken om ze te verbinden.
Voor de rest heb ik weinig te zeggen, er is nog geen brand geweest thuis dus dan zal ik pas kunnen inschatten hoe goed deze werken

De installatie van deze 3 melders verliep zeer snel via de Tuya app. Volg de stappen exact en het proces verloopt eenvoudig.
Ik gebruik ook de Homey en ook daar kunnen ze eenvoudig aan toegevoegd worden. Hierdoor zijn allerlei andere smart apparaten aan de melders te koppelen.
De optionele magneetbevestiging is een aanrader, met 1 schroef op 1 boorgat of alleen de plakstrip zijn deze makkelijk te gebruiken voor de montage.

Helaas is het mij niet gelukt om deze melders te koppelen met mijn wifi. Beide apps geïnstalleerd maar, krijg steeds dezelfde fout melding. Retour gestuurd.

Hetzelfde gezeik als met alle andere Tuya Smart-troep die ik heb gehad: er is geen stabiele verbinding met WiFi te krijgen. Apparaat is continue een paar minuten na instellen de verbinding kwijt. Levensgevaarlijk wanneer je niet op zo’n apparaat kunt vertrouwen. Dit heeft me eraan herinnerd waarom ik 5 jaar geleden al mijn andere Tuya-rotzooi heb weggegooid! En nee, dit ligt niet aan mijn thuisnetwerk: Andere smart producten als Shelly en willekeurige (wel Chinese, maar niet-Tuya zooi) werken allemaal vlekkeloos.

Toen ik de combimelders kreeg ik de indruk dat ze niet verbonden waren en dat ik geen meldingen kreeg, maar via de klantenservice werd ik supergoed geholpen. Alles werd duidelijk uitgelegd stap voor stap.

Ik had wat moeite met de installatie, met name Wifi. Na een email met vragen kreeg ik direct antwoord met tips. Na nog wat heen en weer mailen was het opgelost, de documentatie was op dit punt wat onduidelijk voor mij. De melders bleken gewoon goed te werken. Erg goede support dus !.
