Where do you place your carbon monoxide detector?

Learn more about the legal obligations in your country here. In addition to meeting legal obligations, we recommend that you install carbon monoxide alarms or combination smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in any room that contains combustion appliances, such as central heating boilers, gas stoves, water heaters or fireplaces. These appliances can emit carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless and potentially deadly gas. A CO alarm near these appliances provides a quick warning of dangerous accumulations of carbon monoxide so you can act in a timely manner.

Place your Aroha Smart Connect carbon monoxide detector within range of the 2.4 GHz WiFi network so the detector can connect to the app. You yourself do not need to be within range of this same WiFi network to receive notifications.

Note: This Aroha Smart Connect detector is a WiFi detector without interconnection. To connect the smart detector to the app, 2.4 GHz WiFi is required.
