Dual protection against smoke and CO
- 2-in-1 protection: A linkable combination detector that detects both smoke and carbon monoxide. No hassle with multiple detectors, but instant and complete safety against two major dangers – fire and carbon monoxide poisoning.
- Advanced CO alarms: The CO meter alerts you with a loud 85 dB alarm to dangerous levels of carbon monoxide. Detect the invisible and odorless threat of CO gas so you can act immediately and protect yourself and your family from potential dangers of incomplete combustion in e.g. central heating boilers, geysers or fireplaces.
- Early warning: Receive early warnings of low concentrations of carbon monoxide gas. Advanced sensors alert you to even minimal increases in CO levels, allowing you to respond quickly.
- Advanced photoelectric sensors: These innovative sensors detect smoke from slowly smoldering fires (e.g., electrical wiring) faster and more effectively.

- Modern design with standby LED: Stylish design with a modern look and a standby LED that flashes once a minute, confirming the operation of the fire alarm/CO detector.
- Smart self-test: The combination detector performs a self-test every minute, so you are always assured of reliable protection.
- Low battery indicator: Proactive maintenance alerts let you know in time when the battery is low and the interconnectable smoke and carbon monoxide detector needs to be replaced.
User-friendly design
- User-friendly design: Easy to test and silence thanks to the clever design with the entire front of the smoke alarm as a test and mute/silence button. When you mute or test one interconnected combination detector, all wirelessly connected Aroha Link detectors will automatically join in.

Where do you place your combination detector?
A combination detector is a smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector in one. Smoke rises and carbon monoxide spreads through the air. Because of this difference, there is no one perfect place for the combination detector, but entirely dependent on your situation.
Learn more about the legal obligations in your country here. In addition to meeting legal obligations, we recommend that you optimize fire safety in your home by installing combination detectors, smoke detectors and/or carbon monoxide detectors in strategic locations:
- Rooms with combustion appliances: Install carbon monoxide alarms or combination detectors in any room that contains combustion appliances, such as central heating boilers, gas stoves, water heaters or fireplaces. These appliances can emit carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless and potentially deadly gas. A CO alarm near these appliances provides a quick warning of dangerous accumulations of carbon monoxide so you can act in a timely manner.
- Escape routes: Place smoke detectors or combination detectors in hallways and near stairs, especially if they lead to bedrooms. This ensures that smoke is detected quickly and you can respond in a timely manner.
- Bedrooms: It is crucial to install smoke detectors or combination detectors in or near bedrooms so that the alarm can alert everyone during the night. This increases the chances that residents will be awakened in time in the event of a fire. In this regard, choose a bedroom-friendly Sleep Line smoke detector without a standby LED.
- Living rooms: A smoke detector or combination detector in the living room is important, especially if appliances that can cause smoke and fire, such as a fireplace, are frequently used.
- Near kitchens: It is not recommended to place smoke detectors or combination detectors directly in kitchens due to the risk of false alarms caused by cooking fumes. Place a smoke detector near a kitchen or choose our specially designed Aroha Heat Detector around the kitchen to detect fire in time.
- Within range of interconnected group: Aroha Link detectors have a transmission range of up to 100 meters without obstacles, such as walls, doors and ceilings. Make sure the Aroha Link detectors are within range of each other so they can alarm in sync.
- Locations to avoid: Avoid smoke detectors or combination detectors in areas with high humidity, such as bathrooms and garages, to avoid false alarms.
Note: This Aroha Link detector is an interconnectable detector without WiFi.
Would you prefer a detector that can connect to an app via WiFi, but has no interconnection? Then look at the Aroha Smart Connect detectors.
If you want to combine both interconnection and connection to an app via WiFi, you can choose the Aroha Smart Connect & Link Smoke Detector.
Do you prefer a standalone detector that you install in 1 minute? Then choose an Aroha Safety Pro detector.
